Come join our Technical Interview Development team
Our Technical Development team is committed to the creation and testing of questions that are a part of the most predictive and fair technical interviews available to software engineering candidates.
What you will do
As an I/O Psychologist at Karat, you will provide expertise on interview techniques, rating scales, and psychological tests used to assess skills, abilities, and interests for the purpose of employee selection, placement, and promotion.
Karat's HQ is based in Seattle, Washington, but we are open to remote U.S.-based candidates for this role. Immigration sponsorship is available for this position.

  • Evaluate the fairness and validity of our technical content on an ongoing basis.
  • Analyze data, using statistical methods and applications, in order to evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of products and programs.
  • Educate and inform both internal and external stakeholders on industry best practices for content validity and fairness.
  • Track findings from content creation, testing, and revision processes and continuously work to optimize internal development processes and structure of content.


The experience you will bring

  • 5+ years of industry experience in I/O Psychology roles or similar experience
  • Master's degree in IO Psychology or a related field
  • Strong data analysis and scientific thinking skills
  • Experience with - and a knack for - communicating technical work to partners
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • A passion for product-focused thinking
