Looking to join a team at the forefront of developing a data driven, intelligent travel platform. FCTS (Financial and Core Transaction Systems) operates between Expedia Group’s Brands, Supply teams, and Financial systems and is the transactional heartbeat of the company. In this role, you will drive the strategy and vision for to assess, innovate, build and evolve the data products providing Booking and Financial data to Expedia Group’s internal and external partners.

This role is inherently cross-functional --you will work closely with counterparts in software engineering, operations, program and strategy to ensure the team is delivering with high standards. You will facilitate cross-team and cross-customer collaboration. To demonstrate investments are producing the best bang-for-buck, you will author concise monthly communications for senior executives. You will be responsible for creating business cases, roadmaps and agile artifacts. Your efforts will guide booking data platform product strategy to maximize company revenue, reduce cost, improve customer satisfaction, and enhances the value of the assigned brand or product line.

What you’ll do:

Lead our transformation from to real-time, big data streaming analytics platform and services, handling billions of financial and booking transactions.

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with partners throughout Expedia Group.

Evaluate the impact of trade-off decisions between programs and initiatives.

Maintain a high attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Direct and control the activities of product team accountable for the development of new and existing tech products and features.

Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair a team's ability to meet strategic, financial and technical goals.

Draw on analytical and quantitative skills, using hard data

Who you are:

Platform Product skills-ability to dig into technical aspects and proven success driving configurable, reusable, and automated technology solutions in a high growth environment

Industry experience in managing products, preferably in e-commerce, Travel or hospitality industry experience, highly valued

Excellent critical thinking and strong operating skills.

Demonstrable project management and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.

Communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, MBA preferred

2+ years’ work experience in product management positions
