Our team is made up of passionate entrepreneurs and industry veterans who have built and managed multiple billion-dollar companies, as well as over 400 talented engineers, product and project managers, data scientists, and buy and sell-side experts.


We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our PMO and support the Platform Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a background of managing work across technical teams, be well-versed in Agile methodologies, SDLC, release management, JIRA and Confluence, have excellent attention to detail and follow-through, and be adaptable to the evolving needs of a mission-critical Product and Engineering organization. As part of our team, you will work closely with technical product managers and engineers to oversee Agile rituals, manage technical projects, and drive process improvements.


The Role You Will Have:

  • Schedule and facilitate Scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes
  • Facilitate planning meetings and create project plans for critical projects
  • Track project dependencies
  • Plan and organize demos and product/system testing
  • Remove impediments for the team
  • Create dashboards for teams with key metrics and trends
  • Facilitate production incident response during critical incidents
  • Take ownership of improving team communication, documentation, and JIRA issue tracking to improve team efficiency
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QE on release and quality management improvements
  • Own communication improvements and project status reporting
  • Run retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience in a software development company
  • Experience as a Scrum Master with background in Scrum and Kanban
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Google apps
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, release management, and quality management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional matrixed teams with strong influencing skills
  • Experience thinking creatively to come up with the best ways to organize work
  • Strong background of increasing responsibilities and a clear track record of successful project delivery
  • Analytical thinking, plus excellent written, verbal, and leadership skills
  • Experience developing processes and best practices to improve teams’ efficiency
  • Must be comfortable managing multiple projects, teams, and priorities
  • Project Management Certifications (Certified Scrum Master, PMP+)
  • AdTech/MarTech/Search experience is helpful

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $138,400 - $192,300 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in U.S. role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.


System1 offers flexible work arrangements for most employees (unless they hold positions which are identified as having to be 100% onsite in Marina del Rey, CA, Bellevue, WA or Guelph, ON Canada). Most System1 full-time employees choose to work in a hybrid environment, splitting their time between working in our offices and working remotely. System1 allows fully-remote work in the following approved locations: Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Prospective U.S. employees who live outside of any of these states will need to establish residency in one of the approved states prior to employment.
