The Junior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Salesforce platform across the company and maintaining the Salesforce instance while providing support to end-users. The Junior Salesforce Administrator plays a key role in the maintenance and growth of company-wide Sales and Marketing initiatives using Salesforce and other tooling integrations. This individual should have the experience and initiative to not only build to requirements, but also think creatively and find out-of-the-box solutions to problems. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will drive and support the adoption and optimization of our current cloud-based tools for Sales and Marketing performance. They will be proactive and forward-thinking to go above and beyond initial analysis requests that contribute to the success of the company and the departments they support.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles and permission sets in Salesforce
  • Customize fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Assist in data import/export/updates, system customization
  • Create workflows, process builders, validation rules, and more
  • Provide day-to-day user support and assist with best practices to improve and increase knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Maintain data and system security and integrity in Salesforce
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and escalate as needed
  • Create training and user documentation, and maintain ongoing documentation processes as business needs evolve or features are added

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Saleforce.com Administrator Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience in business or technology
  • Experience in a SCRUM environment and JIRA
  • Proficient skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Mac computers
  • Experience with Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, HTML, Java, SQL, SOQL a plus

  • Must be able to manage and prioritize simultaneous tasks
  • Excellent project management skills with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upward with a positive attitude
