We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to develop and lead our relationship with Key Airline Partners in the Americas. Reporting to the Director, Key Accounts - Americas, this role will have full ownership and revenue responsibility for a significant portfolio of airline partners. The main responsibilities are to drive revenue targets, ensure price & inventory access, structure deals and execute contract renewals. The role requires the implementation of growth strategies for the assigned accounts as well as owning and driving Expedia Group partnership initiatives beyond distribution with our partner organizations.

You are a self-starter, who is driven by a passion for customer centricity and getting results. You look for ways to break down barriers and define new ways of showcasing value to our airline partners.

  • With a customer centric lens, you will create strategies to maximize total revenue and drive the best results for many of our largest and most significant partners.
  • You will work closely and constantly to improve our relationships with the internal partners impacting and influencing our external partners.
  • A strong negotiator, you will own the airline agreements and lead the negotiating process.

Key responsibilities:

  • You'll be responsible for day-to-day interaction with the airlines; conduct regular one-to-one meetings with key partners in airlines’ head office and frequent catch-ups with contacts in the most important markets
  • Lead negotiation of agreements and contract updates
  • You'll address queries from specific airlines
  • You will administer and plan social partner interactions or local events with some of the largest key accounts
  • Review performance with account on a regular basis
  • You'll prepare content for partner meetings
  • Establish and build relationships at higher levels to connect account with EG’s leadership when appropriate
  • Present key account portfolio to senior management
  • Secure fares and other content in all markets where airline has important content for EG brands
  • Lead merchandising opportunities in meaningful points of sale
  • Discover opportunities with Lodging Partner Services/Expedia Partner Solutions and execute
  • Monitor contract performance
  • Seek payments and work with Finance on invoice administration
