Lead and manage the underwriting and credit risk model validation team, perform hands-on independent validations of complex ML models, assess data integrity and performance, identify and remediate model weaknesses, partner on MRM framework improvements, and coordinate with audit, compliance, and controls to meet regulatory standards.

Independently validate and monitor machine learning models for credit underwriting, credit risk, and fraud detection. Identify model weaknesses, recommend improvements, and collaborate with model owners to remediate findings. Support and maintain the Model Risk Management framework and coordinate with Internal Audit, Internal Controls, and Compliance on audit and regulatory requests.

Design, train, and productionize underwriting ML models for real-time transaction decisions. Build feature pipelines and training datasets, run experiments, integrate models into batch/real-time systems, and monitor data and model health while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
