Own technology strategy and architecture for Remitly’s High Value Senders domain. Design scalable web, mobile, and backend systems; solve complex distributed-systems challenges; establish reliability, security, privacy, and quality standards; guide AI adoption; lead architecture reviews; mentor senior engineers; and align technical decisions with customer trust and business outcomes. Mentor engineers, shape roadmaps with cross-functional partners, and design scalable, compliant financial systems.

Build and own backend product features for Remitly Business, including services, APIs, data models, and durable money-movement workflows. Develop scalable Go systems using Temporal, ensuring idempotency, observability, ledger accuracy, reconciliation, security, and compliance. Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Operations to deliver features end to end. Contribute to roadmaps, technical reviews, AI-assisted development, architecture decisions, interviews, and team growth.
