Paid, full-time electrical engineering co-op supporting autonomous aircraft hardware development. Responsibilities may include circuit board design, power electronics simulation and verification, avionics bring-up, debugging, automated test-rack development, and HALT reliability testing. The co-op owns a project with mentorship from a senior engineer and collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams.

Electrical Engineering Interns will gather requirements, design, and validate avionics assemblies and test fixtures. They will work across power electronics, communications, RF, and related disciplines; build test stands involving relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnesses; use Python for test automation, analysis, and simulations; and participate in cross-functional design reviews. The internship is a 10–12-week paid program for students pursuing Electrical Engineering or a related STEM degree.

Paid 10–12-week internship supporting aerospace manufacturing and engineering projects. Responsibilities include program scheduling, production planning, material logistics, prototype build readiness, quality data analysis, corrective actions, advanced manufacturing process improvement, and preparing reports and metrics for engineering leadership.

Conducts environmental reliability testing on electronic flight hardware, including thermal, humidity, vibration, shock, HALT, and HASS testing. Develops test plans, fixtures, procedures, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and reports. Operates and improves the environmental test lab, investigates failures, manages equipment and consumables, coordinates external laboratories, and advises stakeholders on test and design-for-reliability practices.

Design and develop mechanical and actuated systems for autonomous UAVs, owning concept-to-production CAD, kinematic and structural analysis, FEA, prototyping, testing, and cross-functional integration to meet performance, schedule, and reliability goals.

Design, implement, verify, and debug FPGA-based communication modules for UAV avionics. Perform synthesis, timing closure, bitstream generation, and hardware bring-up. Integrate FPGAs with system architecture, optimize for latency/reliability, collaborate across hardware/firmware/software teams, participate in design reviews, and maintain documentation.

Design and develop primary and secondary structural components for next-generation UAVs through concept, CAD modeling, detailed design, verification testing, and production release. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform hand calculations and limited FEA, produce drawings and documentation, support manufacturing and flight test, and improve structural design practices.

Lead propulsion engineering for X-BAT's fighter-class afterburning engine and TVC systems. Manage engineers and technicians through concept, integration, testing, flight operations, and deployment. Coordinate with controls, airframe, flight test, manufacturing, suppliers, and leadership; drive trade studies, root-cause investigations, performance analysis, design reviews, and flight readiness. Emphasize technical leadership, hands-on execution, and schedule alignment to meet vehicle and mission requirements.

Design, analyze, and integrate thermal management systems for launch and recovery systems and electronics. Develop analytical and CFD models, prototype and test mechanisms, lead trade studies and risk assessments, drive test planning and data correlation, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, avionics, manufacturing, and test teams toward production and field deployment.

Lead end-to-end propulsion test campaigns for a low-bypass turbofan Group 5 UAV: design test stands and instrumentation, execute ground tests, analyze data, drive anomaly investigations, and coordinate test-to-flight handoffs with cross-functional teams.
