Leads enterprise-scale cloud architecture across private, sovereign, and public cloud environments. Evaluates emerging cloud, hardware, and software technologies; drives hardware enhancements; benchmarks systems; resolves complex infrastructure issues; and coordinates root-cause analysis across databases, operating systems, networking, and hardware. Requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, Linux and database performance, datacenter technologies, Kubernetes, cost optimization, and cross-functional technical leadership.

Lead the design, development, and operation of highly available, multi-tenant data platform services on Kubernetes, including Postgres, messaging, streaming, and key-value systems. Define distributed-systems architecture, failover, disaster recovery, scalability, observability, and SLOs. Build operators, controllers, automation, and self-service APIs; lead major technical initiatives; resolve reliability risks; collaborate across engineering teams; and mentor engineers.

Build and operate cloud-native data platform components and services, including Kubernetes operators, controllers, automation, and platform services. Lead technical projects from requirements through production, ensuring reliability, scalability, observability, testing, and operational readiness. Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and standards, participate in on-call, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires extensive Kubernetes, hyperscaler, Go, container, CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code experience.
