Headset’s platform lets cannabis companies use transaction info to better their business decisions and operations. Makara pulled in $2M. Having recently spun out of Strix Leviathan, crypto company Makara offers users robo-advisor for their investments, as well as a portfolio of several different cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. BitTitan acquired Perspectium. With the acquisition set to close within a month or so, BitTitan is looking to expand its services as it helps IT providers move businesses to cloud-computing services. The company has currently served 46,000 customers to date. Perspectium automates information transfer between disconnected software. [Seattle Times]
Dolly appointed Scott Porad as CTO. The on-demand delivery company selected Porad to take charge of its tech and engineering teams. Porad, who previously served as VP of product engineering at 98point6, will also be responsible for implementing modern tech within Dolly’s platform and infrastructure strategy.
