The Covid-19 pandemic has already put numerous strains on the healthcare industry and its employees. With a recent rise in the number of monkeypox cases, healthcare workers may soon again be stretched thin. Even if pressing issues don’t overwhelm healthcare employees, the World Health Organization predicts there will a significant healthcare worker shortage of about 15 million people by 2030.

To prevent that shortage and to help keep medical facilities staffed, SeekOut recently launched a new recruiting platform. The platform is titled Healthcare Talent Pool and, according to SeekOut, is the largest database of U.S. healthcare candidates.

“We know that healthcare roles are some of the hardest to fill in today’s environment and many organizations struggle to find skilled and specialized healthcare talent,” Anoop Gupta, CEO and co-founder at SeekOut, said in a statement. “SeekOut’s Healthcare Talent Pool allows recruiters to quickly identify candidates who match their open roles and reduce time to hire.”

SeekOut is a recruitment platform that has helped enterprises find and retain talent. The platform uses AI and machine learning to analyze and screen candidates. It also reduces bias during the hiring process.

Built In last caught with the Seattle-based company when it raised a $115 million Series C round in January, which minted SeekOut as a tech unicorn with a valuation of $1.2 billion. At that time, the company said it would be investing in developing new hiring solutions.

The new Healthcare Talent Pool platform has new tools and filters that aggregate healthcare candidates based on factors like skills, location and employment history, among other filters. Through the platform, recruiters can directly communicate with candidates.

According to the SeekOut’s website, Healthcare Talent Pool also has features to help companies diversify their recruitment, including an option to turn off all candidates’ identifiable information so hiring decisions can be made solely based on a candidate’s skill level and experience.
