EigenLayer secured $50M. Cryptocurrency specialist EigenLayer announced a sizeable Series A funding round for its staking protocol solution. Equipped with fresh capital, the company plans to launch the initial version of its protocol in phases throughout the year. Lyft appointed a new CEO. Rideshare company Lyft’s co-founders Logan Green and John Zimmer will step down from their current leadership positions to make way for David Risher. Risher, formerly an early employee of Amazon and a manager at Microsoft, will take on the responsibilities of CEO at Lyft. The succession will take place on April 17. [Built In Seattle]

Payscore pulled in fresh capital. With a software tool that aims to prioritize the best interests of property managers and potential tenants, Payscore secured a new round of capital for its income verification technology.
