Seattle-based spatial AI company Augmodo has announced several new hires, bringing in talent from companies including Amazon Alexa, Google, Meta and Microsoft.
Although Augmodo initially focused on retail applications, the company said in a statement that the new hires will help broaden its platform to support a wider range of operational environments such as supplier networks and warehouses.
Among the key appointments is CTO Bradford Snow, who will lead Augmodo’s technical vision and innovation strategy. In addition, the core team behind Pointy, a retail inventory startup acquired by Google, has joined the company to help advance its goal of transforming retail engagement.
Augmodo’s spatial AI platform helps streamline store operations, improve customer engagement and unlock new revenue through automation and real-time data insights. Its wearable SmartBadges create live 3D maps of store environments using a spatial AI assistant that recommends actions to frontline employees to boost compliance and efficiency, while the company’s SpatialView analytics platform gives executives and brand partners visibility into shelf conditions and in-store activity. Together, the tools help store associates restock shelves, manage inventory and place orders more efficiently, saving time and money while improving the experience for retailers, employees and shoppers.
The hiring effort follows Augmodo’s $37.5 million Series A funding round announced in July 2025.
