In 2019, AuthenticID, a fraud detection software company, moved its headquarters across the country to the west coast. Now, three years later, it has packed up again and opened a new headquarters in Seattle.

The company was founded in 2001 and provides an array of fraud detection solutions. According to its website, AuthenticID’s software features tools ranging from ID verification, face-matching technology and safety monitoring. Its products, which meet KYC and IAM requirements, are marketed to businesses that need to run checks on employees or clients.

AuthenticID said in a statement that the company’s recording-breaking growth last year was a catalyst for the relocation of its headquarters.  Over the course of the year, AuthenticID saw a 186 percent year-over-year increase in revenue, which resulted in the company doubling its headcount to keep with demand. That year the company also secured a $100 million private equity investment by Long Ridge Equity Partners that it used to develop go-to-market strategies.

With the increase in revenue and new capital, AuthenticID is planning on hiring 50 new employees in 2022.

The new Seattle headquarters boasts over 20,000 square feet of office space that overlooks Lake Washington and will serve as a hybrid office for the company’s in-person and remote workers, according to a news release.

“We’re thrilled to be able to move into a new space that will facilitate AuthenticID’s continued growth and success for years to come,” said AuthenticID CEO Jeff S. Jani said in a statement. “The AuthenticID team is looking forward to becoming a larger part of Seattle’s dynamic tech sector and community.
