Praia Health, a digital health company, has secured $20 million in Series A funding led by Frist Cressey Ventures to expand the reach of its consumer platform. The company aims to revolutionize the delivery of individualized health solutions at scale with its identity-driven personalization technology.
The company’s low-code ecosystem enablement capabilities allow for the streamlined integration of third-party consumer solutions into a health system’s digital experience. By managing the data exchanged between third-party solutions, a health system’s electronic medical record solution and other health system data sources, Praia Health helps providers increase flexibility and reduce costs of third-party integrations.
Providence, one of the largest health systems in the U.S., incubated Praia Health and has been using the platform since January 2022. Praia Health’s platform currently supports over 3.5 million user accounts and offers digital self-serve and navigation capabilities, on-demand virtual care and personalized program recommendations. To date, Praia Health lists 17 health organizations as program partners.
Community Health Network, an Indiana-based health system, has become Praia Health’s first external customer and will implement Praia Health’s consumer platform in 2024.
