Provides strategic compensation consulting to leaders, including market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, internal equity, pay-compression analysis, and incentive programs. Leads complex compensation projects, develops models and recommendations, maintains compensation data and systems, supports compliance audits, coordinates survey vendors, and provides guidance to compensation team members.

Leads complex employee relations investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, violence, and theft. Advises HR leaders, legal counsel, and management on employment matters; ensures compliance with employment laws; reviews disciplinary actions; supports EEOC responses, reductions in force, and job reassignments. Develops investigative and compliance training, analyzes employee relations trends, mentors team members, maintains confidential case records, and may provide expert testimony in judicial proceedings.

Handles intermediate to complex Michigan PIP claims by evaluating coverage, investigating losses, assessing damages and benefits, authorizing payments, negotiating settlements, and managing attorney-represented and MCCA claims. The role requires applying Michigan insurance and no-fault laws, documenting claim activity, coordinating with medical providers and internal teams, identifying recovery opportunities, and ensuring regulatory and company compliance.

Manage the annual corporate and operational audit plan, including risk assessments, control testing, audit execution, findings, reporting, and recommendations. Supervise and develop professional auditors, review workpapers, coordinate with external auditors, support special projects, and advise management on control improvements and regulatory compliance. Maintain audit methodologies, budgets, timelines, and status reporting while promoting a strong corporate control environment across a multi-state organization.

Manage Michigan PIP claims from intake to resolution: investigate facts, perform coverage analysis, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, approve payments, document files, refer to other units, and handle MCCA and attorney-represented cases.
