Design, analyze, prototype, manufacture, and test mechanical components and assemblies for chemical rocket engines and in-space propulsion systems. Lead design reviews, create CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions; perform structural, thermal, and fluid analyses; coordinate vendors and cross-functional teams; support hardware assembly, testing, data analysis, risk mitigation, and customer communication.

Leads technical execution for in-space propulsion hardware and engineering programs. Coordinates multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply chain, quality, suppliers, and customers while managing development plans, milestones, risks, technical baselines, documentation, reviews, and changes. Partners with program management to align technical objectives, resources, cost, and schedule, and drives complex technical issues to resolution. The role supports multiple seniority levels based on experience, leadership, complexity, and organizational scope.

Lead systems engineering for rocket engine and thruster development programs, translating customer mission needs into requirements, architectures, verification plans, and delivered hardware. Drive trade studies, requirements traceability, technical risk closure, system integration, gated design reviews, qualification and acceptance testing, failure investigations, and cross-functional alignment among customers, suppliers, and engineering teams.
