Leads the Payments Platform engineering organization, owning strategy, architecture, roadmap, delivery, and operational health for global payment processing, routing, settlement, reconciliation, and partner integrations. Manages Engineering Managers and senior technical talent, guides scalable and reliable distributed-system architecture, and partners with Product, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, and regional engineering leaders to support growth and regulatory requirements.

Build and operate scalable observability platforms covering metrics, logs, traces, alerting, dashboards, and service health. Develop self-service tooling, improve incident detection and response, establish observability standards, and optimize reliability, performance, and cost across global cloud-native systems. Partner with engineering, infrastructure, SRE, security, and product teams while participating in design reviews, incident response, and post-incident learning. Mentor engineers and promote operational excellence.

Lead the full sales cycle for Airwallex’s SME and Growth customers, from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and initial onboarding. Sell payment acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management solutions to technology-enabled businesses. Generate pipeline, exceed revenue targets, consult with customers, coordinate contracts with internal teams, support partnerships, and improve scalable sales processes.
