Akin

Akin is a Washington state nonprofit that partners with children, families, and communities to strengthen family well-being. Created through the 2024 merger of Childhaven and Children’s Home Society of Washington, it provides early learning, behavioral-health and counseling services, family resource centers, parent education, youth and community supports, and workforce development. Its programs span prenatal care through adulthood and combine prevention, intervention, and community-based support.
