Leads complex property and casualty insurance reserving projects, evaluating reserve adequacy, volatility, emerging loss trends, and actuarial methodologies. Performs advanced reserve analyses using actuarial, statistical, and predictive modeling techniques; validates claims, exposure, and financial data; communicates results to leadership and business partners; develops reserve narratives; mentors less experienced staff; and supports business decisions through technical and thought leadership.

Leads data science and advanced analytics initiatives for Auto Claims by developing, evaluating, and implementing machine learning and predictive modeling solutions. Integrates structured and unstructured data, researches emerging techniques, communicates model results to stakeholders, and manages moderately complex projects. Provides initial mentoring and development support to junior data scientists while helping improve business decisions and outcomes.

Prepares external financial reporting schedules, SEC/GAAP and NAIC/statutory disclosures, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. Analyzes financial and investment data, investigates variances, supports management reporting, and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve reporting issues. The role also contributes to process improvements, controls, executive materials, special projects, and ad hoc financial analyses.
