Teams at Alpaca

Design and implement Alpaca's low-latency, high-throughput algo trading platform. Work across frontend and backend, databases, and distributed systems; optimize performance and concurrency; architect scalable, highly available services; and develop/extend OMS and RMS functionality for trading/exchange systems.

Own and optimize AI-powered support tools (chatbots, agent copilots, knowledge retrieval, automation). Monitor performance, identify automation opportunities, create and test prompts/workflows, maintain training data, coordinate integrations, and produce documentation and training for support teams.

Lead and conduct AML, anti-fraud, and securities fraud investigations; prepare SARs; respond to sanctions and regulatory requests; maintain risk assessments; support audits and regulatory engagements; develop policies, procedures, and monitoring controls; collaborate with stakeholders and compile reports for management and regulators.
