Design and operate Alpaca’s scalable data platform on GCP, including lakehouse infrastructure, Kubernetes-based deployments, streaming and CDC pipelines, batch ingestion, BI access, cataloging, monitoring, and governance. Build infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, operate distributed query engines and Apache Iceberg, maintain reliability practices, and collaborate with DevOps and analytics teams to support rapidly evolving data requirements.

Own the full sales cycle for Alpaca’s institutional Broker API across the United States. Responsibilities include prospecting, pipeline development, consultative solution selling, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, closing, forecasting, and relationship management with fintechs and financial institutions. The role collaborates with technical, product, marketing, customer success, and legal teams while managing complex enterprise sales cycles remotely.

Provides enterprise clients with support for order entry, execution, FIX sessions, OMS functionality, account management, and trading operations. Monitors trading activity, corporate actions, and anomalies; troubleshoots issues; collaborates with trading desks, IT, operations, and compliance; supports regulatory adherence and risk management; and communicates client feedback to improve products and services.
