Manages and evolves enterprise data lakes and warehouses, designing scalable AWS-based batch, CDC, and near-real-time ETL/ELT pipelines. Builds data quality, governance, lineage, security, monitoring, and recovery controls; optimizes Spark, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and S3 workloads. Develops reusable Python, SQL, and PySpark frameworks, supports schema evolution and analytical data modeling, and collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.

Designs and evolves scalable, secure distributed systems and cloud-native microservices architectures. Responsibilities include event-driven architecture with Kafka, GraphQL and mobile/backend integration, Docker and Kubernetes deployment, AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, security, observability, HIPAA compliance, architecture reviews, threat modeling, documentation, prototyping, and technical enablement. The role partners with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to guide platform strategy and architectural standards.

Oversee database design, administration, security, performance, availability, backup, and recovery across cloud and on-premises environments. Install, configure, upgrade, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases; administer Amazon RDS and Aurora; support migrations and data integration using AWS services. Develop database standards, optimize performance, maintain integrity controls, and collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and organizational stakeholders.
