Designs and builds AIM’s safety-critical operator UI, multi-tenant SaaS portal, and shared design system. Responsibilities include developing real-time 3D interfaces with Three.js, teleoperation controls, live video and telemetry integrations, authorization and internationalization features, and production-grade TypeScript and React applications. The role leads architecture, testing, accessibility, performance, observability, code reviews, cross-functional delivery, root-cause analysis, and mentoring while ensuring reliable operation in industrial field environments.

Lead product safety for autonomous earthmoving machines by defining safety roadmaps, requirements, architectures, risk analyses, verification frameworks, and certification strategies. Build and lead the safety engineering team, collaborate across hardware, software, autonomy, controls, and product teams, manage certification agencies, and analyze incidents, near misses, and fleet telemetry to identify emerging risks.

Own system-level safety architectures and workstreams for autonomous heavy machinery. Lead hazard analyses, define safety requirements and fail-safe behaviors, develop safety cases and traceability, establish verification and validation strategies, and assess human-machine interaction and emergency-stop behavior. Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to validate safety in production systems, while analyzing incidents, near misses, telemetry, and field testing to identify emerging risks.
