The Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer will design, build, and maintain ML infrastructure, streamline model deployment, and monitor performance to ensure the success of machine learning models at The Athletic.

Lead and manage audience growth strategies across social media platforms and creator channels, focusing on creative content and P&L management. Responsibilities include developing growth goals, monitoring analytics, and team leadership.

Design and drive the core product experience for sports fans across web and mobile: create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs; lead research and design projects; collaborate with PMs, engineers, editors, and analysts; contribute to the design system and help define product strategy.
