Build and operate highly reliable card-issuing systems at Block, focusing on network integrations, ISO 8583 message flows, authorization, clearing, certification, mandates, and production behavior. Lead complex cross-team engineering initiatives, create conformance tooling and shared frameworks, debug protocol-level issues, collaborate directly with card networks, mentor engineers, apply AI-assisted development practices, and participate in on-call support for critical financial systems.

Analyze product, customer, and risk data to guide Support and Risk Operations decisions. Define metrics, forecasting and staffing models, evaluate experiments and risk policies, monitor bias and model performance, and build scalable measurement frameworks. Use AI tools and agent workflows to improve analytical efficiency. Partner with product, engineering, risk, and business stakeholders, communicate insights, provide technical leadership, mentor data scientists, and contribute to hiring.

Own a North Seattle territory through field-based prospecting, business visits, live product demonstrations, consultative selling, and full-cycle deal closing. Build pipeline through cold outreach, community engagement, events, networking, and partnerships. Develop relationships with local sellers, provide onboarding support, maintain Salesforce pipeline accuracy, forecast performance, and consistently exceed sales quotas across Square’s software, hardware, and financial services ecosystem.
