Manage the commercial automobile insurance portfolio by analyzing claims, pricing, underwriting, and market data to identify loss drivers and performance opportunities. Develop portfolio monitoring requirements, underwriting rules, and strategic recommendations supporting profitable growth. Partner with underwriting, product, pricing, actuarial, claims, analytics, and catastrophe teams to evaluate initiatives, optimize strategies, and communicate results. Conduct segment, competitor, and market analyses while advancing analytics-driven underwriting digitization.

Conduct health and safety field assessments, machine guarding evaluations, lockout/tagout program reviews, and compliance audits for multinational clients. Develop technical reports, risk evaluations, and corrective action recommendations aligned with OSHA, ANSI, and ASME standards. Collaborate with clients on safety improvements, maintain regulatory knowledge, manage project deliverables, generate billable revenue, and strengthen client relationships. The role requires extensive travel and consulting experience across multiple industries.

Leads commercial insurance underwriting and new business production across a Pacific Northwest region through 8–12 matrixed underwriters. Responsibilities include deal approval, productivity management, coaching, profitability and production analysis, market strategy, distribution partnerships, audit and compliance oversight, authority delegation, talent management, and hiring support. The role drives revenue growth, ensures underwriting execution, develops business plans, and maintains internal and external relationships. Travel is required as needed.
