Serves as the vessel’s statutory Safety Officer while maintaining bridge watchkeeping proficiency. Oversees maritime safety compliance, life-saving and firefighting equipment readiness, inspections, audits, accident investigations, drills, emergency training, work permits, certifications, and corrective actions. Supports crew development as Cadet Training Officer and understudies the Staff Captain. Requires Basic Polar Waters certification and experience sailing in ice and polar waters.

Responsible for safe cargo operations, vessel maintenance, and onboard safety. Leads engineering activities on a PCTC car carrier powered by MAN ME engines exceeding 10,000 kW. Requires valid STCW Reg II/2 Certificate of Competency, current STCW certifications, strong communication and leadership skills, English fluency, and multicultural work experience. Applicants need at least 18 months of Chief Engineer experience on a 7,000-car PCTC vessel. The contract is approximately four months, with possible extension or reduction.

Command and oversee a pure car and truck carrier vessel, ensuring the safety of crew, cargo, and the environment. Maintain compliance with international maritime regulations, company policies, and safe operating practices. Lead multicultural crews, promote a strong safety culture, and communicate effectively in English. Applicants must hold valid Certificates of Competency and STCW certifications, with at least 18 months of experience as Master on a PCTC vessel. Europe and USA trading experience is recommended.
