Design, operate, and scale Compass's database, cache, and streaming fleet. Build multi-tenant data isolation and SDKs, run fleet-scale DB upgrades with zero downtime, operate Kafka/MSK, develop observability and SLI tooling, and lead cross-team migration and incident response efforts.

Design, build, and operate distributed, event-driven microservices and cloud infrastructure. Lead technical delivery across the full stack with backend emphasis, integrate data pipelines and AI models, ensure high code quality and testing, produce documentation and runbooks, mentor peers, and own services through their lifecycle.
