Provides enterprise-wide leadership for mortgage underwriting, overseeing credit decisions, regulatory compliance, risk governance, operational performance, automation, organizational scaling, and executive stakeholder collaboration. The role builds high-performing underwriting teams, improves quality and cycle times, manages policy and exception processes, supports multiple lending channels, and drives transformation across a complex mortgage lending organization.
