Investigates, evaluates, and resolves complex liability claims independently. Reviews policy coverage, determines liability, manages reserves, negotiates settlements, directs investigations and litigation strategy with counsel, identifies recovery opportunities, authorizes payments, prepares reports, and participates in claim reviews. The role also supports team development through training and mentoring new hires.

Provides remote workers’ compensation and disability case management for injured workers and patients. Reviews medical records, evaluates needs, analyzes treatment and costs, coordinates care and return-to-work plans, communicates with physicians, employers, claims adjusters, and attorneys, and facilitates referrals for peer reviews and independent medical examinations. Maintains documentation, productivity, quality, and regulatory standards while using clinical expertise to improve outcomes and control costs.

Provides clerical and administrative support for claims operations, including managing files, correspondence, records, payments, data entry, mail, audits, and electronic documentation. Contacts agents and insured parties for routine coverage information, schedules medical appointments, requests wage information, orders surveillance, and completes medical status calls. The role also supports office systems, deliveries, communications, and claim-related procedures while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
