Provide legal interpretation and guidance on mortgage fees, disclosures, documents, and vendor integrations. Translate regulatory requirements into business and technical requirements, review system configurations and testing, partner with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and vendors, document legal positions, and identify emerging legal issues to ensure regulatory compliance of loan origination systems and document outputs.

Serve as the compliance SME for assigned regulatory areas, translate regulations into LOS requirements, own change workstreams, support implementation and testing, document outcomes, and coordinate with Legal, Technology, Operations, and Compliance.

Validate that loan origination system functionality and workflows reflect regulatory requirements and internal policies. Design and execute scripted and exploratory tests, document findings and evidence, log issues, collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations to resolve defects, and retest after fixes to ensure audit-ready testing and compliance.
