Build and manage institutional capital relationships with insurers, private credit funds, pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and infrastructure investors. Originate and develop debt, preferred equity, tax equity, structured finance, joint venture, and separately managed vehicle opportunities. Shape investor strategies, align transactions with mandates, support execution, provide market insights, and expand recurring multi-product capital programs. Represent Crux through industry engagement while collaborating with structuring, legal, and business teams.

The Principal will lead Tax Investor Coverage, building relationships with buyers, generating leads, educating them about the Crux platform, and facilitating tax credit transactions while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining data accuracy.

Lead tax equity and preferred equity investments from term sheet through closing, including transaction structuring, risk analysis, modeling, negotiations, documentation, and Investment Committee presentations. Serve as technical authority on partnership structures, tax issues, and capital account basis. Mentor junior team members, support institutional infrastructure, collaborate with Legal, Tax, and Risk, and promote AI-enabled workflows across clean energy investment processes.
