Lead technical direction and architecture for Spark Structured Streaming across open source and Databricks, designing core engine capabilities (state management, operators), improving latency/throughput, ensuring operational excellence, and mentoring engineers while partnering with product and customers.

Provide end-to-end product legal counsel on data privacy, protection, AI, cloud, and security; draft and negotiate product/security contract terms (DPAs, BAAs); advise on vendor data flows, incident response, and go-to-market activities; partner cross-functionally and help improve product counseling processes.

Lead the vision and strategy for Authentication at Databricks, focusing on security and user experience. Recruit and mentor engineering talent, communicate security innovations internally and externally.
