Entry-level sales role focused on selling transportation brokerage services, generating new business, prospecting, cold calling, managing customer relationships, negotiating rates and lanes, and coordinating contracts, bids, billing, collections, and customer needs with cross-functional teams.

Supervise freight operations and employees to ensure shipments are delivered and picked up on time and damage free. Responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, employee development, safety enforcement, service and cut-time monitoring, freight classification, OS&D processing, customer assistance, cost control, reporting, and compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures.

Provides expert engineering and information technology support across complex hardware, software, systems, network, security, configuration, and implementation activities. Leads large projects, supports change and outage management, resolves technical issues, analyzes complex information, and mentors less senior staff. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus seven years in an IT or engineering environment. The remote role requires residence within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location and some travel.
