Develops technical work documents and provides hands-on electrical engineering support for submarine overhaul, repair, and modernization. Responsibilities include interpreting specifications and drawings, troubleshooting shipboard systems, resolving execution roadblocks, evaluating nonconforming conditions, supporting testing and certification, and collaborating with shipyard teams, skilled trades, engineers, and Navy personnel. The role requires shipyard and submarine work, physical access to confined spaces and scaffolding, travel to off-site facilities, and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.
