Lead and supervise shipboard construction and re-modernization tasks in shipyards and drydocks. Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership, manage contractors and staff, develop project plans and reports, liaise with customers and vendors, ensure deliverable quality, and participate in special projects.

Perform shipboard construction and modernization in shipyards/drydocks: read blueprints; fabricate, cut, grind, weld, install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical and structural systems; operate heavy plate machinery and hand/power tools; perform preventative maintenance and support special projects.

In-person hiring event for waterfront shipyard trade roles supporting USN systems. Positions include laborer, pipefitters, sheet metal mechanic, electricians, and welders. Work requires climbing ladders, operating in high-heat spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs with frequent carrying/pushing/pulling, and sustained standing/crouching/walking. Safety and troubleshooting skills are critical.
