Leads business development and sales efforts to secure profitable construction projects valued at $25 million or more. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, building client and industry relationships, managing procurement and RFQ/RFP activities, supporting proposal strategies, tracking opportunities in Salesforce, conducting public relations and networking activities, and coaching internal staff on business development. The role also contributes to business planning, budgeting, and pre-construction coordination.

Manages construction projects from estimating and conceptual design through completion and closeout. Responsibilities include coordinating project engineers, owners, architects, superintendents, and construction teams; maintaining schedules, safety, billing, job-cost forecasts, margins, RFIs, change orders, and submittals; ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, budgets, and deadlines; and completing project closeout within 30 days. Requires construction project management and estimating experience, financial knowledge, leadership, negotiation, and MS Project scheduling skills.

Leads and supports preconstruction activities from project pursuit through construction commencement. Responsibilities include risk mitigation, project tracking, win strategies, proposal support, estimate and value engineering reviews, conceptual budgeting, constructability analysis, team mentoring, client and subcontractor relationship management, and process improvement. The role coordinates executives, project managers, estimators, design teams, and business development to align project risks, margins, schedules, and resources.

Supports project managers and superintendents throughout construction projects by managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, budgets, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation. Provides estimating support, maintains safety standards, and may assume project manager responsibilities when needed. Requires a construction-related degree, at least two years of project engineering experience, financial and job-cost knowledge, and strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Supports construction project teams and regional staff with project documentation, contracts, subcontract compliance, insurance and bond tracking, procurement support, meeting records, project closeout, archiving, and project management software updates. Provides office and reception coverage, handles correspondence and shipping, maintains supplies, and assists with administrative tasks. Requires strong organization, communication, computer skills, and familiarity with construction administration; Washington State notary capability is required or attainable.

Supports project managers and superintendents during an operations rotation and assists senior team members with estimating duties. Participates in safety initiatives, professional development programs, and assigned construction tasks. Requires construction knowledge, the ability to read drawings and specifications, strong communication and organizational skills, and a relevant bachelor’s degree. Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC is advantageous.
