Teams at Great Hearts Academies

Provides specially designed instruction and special education services to students. Develops and maintains IEPs and related compliance documentation, coordinates accommodations and evaluations, facilitates special education meetings, collaborates with educators and service providers, communicates with families, and manages transitions for newly enrolled students receiving services.

Supports lead teachers and students in classroom instruction, individual assistance, make-up work, behavior expectations, recordkeeping, school activities, and substitute teaching coverage. Maintains orderly and safe classrooms, follows school policies, participates in professional development, and supports the academy’s mission. The role may also assist with building upkeep, duty assignments, events, and local training travel.

Supports lead teachers and students across classrooms, provides individual academic assistance, helps maintain orderly and safe learning environments, records information, monitors student activities, assists with substitute teaching, attends school events and professional development, and supports school policies, operations, and mission.
