Architect, develop, debug, and sustain embedded software for aviation cabin systems, including a Yocto-based video encoder/decoder platform. Responsibilities include HDCP-protected IP video streaming, FPGA and ARM SoC integration, device drivers, networking interfaces, hardware/software root-cause analysis, certification-aligned verification, lifecycle maintenance, release planning, and mentoring junior engineers.

Support quality activities for avionics cabin-management electronics across design, supplier build, and field support. Own NCR/CAPA processes, perform FAI per AS9102, analyze returns/failures for reliability insights, maintain QMS records, support supplier quality, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement aligned with AS9100 and airborne systems standards.

Provide frontline systems engineering support for audio/video and cabin management products in business aviation. Develop system specs, architectures, test plans, and Python test scripts; create configurations and demos; troubleshoot fielded systems; engage customers, support sales and proposals, perform root cause analysis, and participate in on-call support and industry events.

Design and implement Verilog-based video and audio processing on Xilinx FPGAs for real-time 4K+ avionics systems. Integrate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, HDMI, SDI), verify and debug in lab, collaborate with hardware/software teams, integrate vendor IP, produce design documentation, and support board bring-up and timing/performance optimization.
