Leads business-unit accounting for a healthcare software company, overseeing monthly and annual close, financial reporting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, capitalized software, sales and use tax, receivables, SOX controls, audits, and technical accounting documentation. Reviews centralized accounting work, partners with cross-functional teams, resolves accounting issues, and supports billing and accounting-system improvements, automation, and responsible use of AI tools. The position is fully remote.

Produce quick, accurate digital news coverage across multiple small Texas markets: pitch and write 3–5 stories daily, chase breaking news, optimize headlines/SEO, use analytics and CMS, create multimedia and social content, and collaborate with local/regional editors to grow audience KPIs.

Own mid-market account sales in an assigned territory: build pipeline, qualify and close new business, coordinate demos and RFPs, manage forecasts in Salesforce, maintain client relationships, and travel for site visits, trade shows, and negotiations.
