Own long-term technical direction across multiple platform engineering teams. Influence architecture, write technical standards, coach engineers organization-wide, and solve cross-team problems. Stay hands-on through coding, prototyping, production debugging, incident response, and on-call ownership. Guide planning and sequencing with engineering managers and product, identify technical causes of organizational inefficiency, and make evidence-based decisions about what to build or stop building.

Own end-to-end system design, API contracts, technical direction, and cross-team delivery for platform engineering systems. Coach engineers through reviews and pairing while remaining hands-on with coding, operations, monitoring, incident response, and on-call responsibilities. Improve CI/CD, observability, testing, and documentation. Relevant domains include data engineering, automation, developer tooling, AI enablement, and product engineering.
