Designs, analyzes, prototypes, tests, and improves industrial poultry-processing equipment. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, FEA, engineering drawings, risk analysis, prototype integration, manufacturing support, field troubleshooting, customer issue resolution, spare-parts planning, and upgrade-kit development. The role collaborates with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, service, and customers, and requires approximately 20% travel to food-processing plants.

Develop and maintain C/C++ software for robotic waterjet cutting systems, combining real-time control, computer vision, and data analytics. Debug and evolve prototypes to production, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage work in Jira, and occasionally travel to customer sites.

Manage and develop part of JBT Marel's global patent portfolio: assess patentability, draft applications and office-action responses, conduct patent surveillance, FTO studies, due diligence, and participate in EPO opposition/appeal proceedings while supporting global IP strategy and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
