Teams at Legence

Leads HVAC and plumbing design engineering for higher education, ports, and energy projects. Manages multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects from proposals through construction completion, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specifications, client presentations, energy studies, and code compliance. Requires a professional engineering license, bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and at least eight years of relevant experience.

Design and support electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, renewable energy, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, calculations, specifications, feasibility studies, and system layouts; coordinating with project stakeholders; reviewing contractor submittals; and, for senior-level assignments, leading projects, conducting power studies, mentoring engineers, and supporting client development.

Designs low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, equipment replacement, single-line diagrams, and electrical calculations. Performs field surveys, develops schematics, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and leads small to medium-sized projects. Supports proposals, mentors junior engineers, and manages construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, punch walks, and code compliance reviews.
