Provide restorative nursing interventions to help patients reach functional potential; report patient responses to supervising nurse or therapist; assist with quality review data, safety and interdisciplinary activities; support cost-effective care delivery and participate in continuing education.

Manage clinical rehabilitation services including patient assessments, treatment observation and recommendations, pain management coordination, staff scheduling, productivity oversight, family education, compliance with documentation and departmental inspections, and other assigned duties to ensure effective rehabilitative care.

Coordinates organization-wide clinical education for hospital employees, contractors, affiliates, volunteers, and others. Designs, develops, plans, and teaches educational programs aligned with current acute-care standards and healthcare requirements. Oversees orientation programs and provides indirect supervision to new employees participating in education processes. Requires an active Iowa RN license, nursing degree, BLS certification, and preferably five or more years of clinically focused nursing experience and prior nurse educator experience.
