Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) Benefits Overview

Provide overnight shelter supervision: assist with intake/exit paperwork, monitor safety and guest policy, maintain cleanliness and perform light maintenance, complete incident reports, handle donations, respond to emergencies, and report operational issues to the Shelter Operations Manager.

Provide overnight on-site monitoring and support at a shelter: intake/exit paperwork, enforce guest policy, maintain safety, cleanliness, and basic maintenance, respond to emergencies, document incidents, engage with participants, handle donations, and follow PPE and training requirements.

Lead and supervise property management and supportive housing teams across a regional portfolio. Ensure resident safety, program compliance (HUD, LIHTC, Section 8), financial oversight, maintenance and capital project coordination, tenant engagement, and staff development. Support trauma-informed, low-barrier services, manage budgets and reporting, assist with lease-ups and special projects, and ensure regulatory and funder compliance.
