Design, build, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications, APIs, databases, integrations, and automated tests. Partner with product, engineering, project management, and business analysis teams to deliver documented requirements and end-to-end features. Monitor application performance, provide production and on-call support, and contribute to emerging technology initiatives. The role supports business-critical behavioral health workflows and systems that improve access to care.

Reviews behavioral health authorization requests and makes medical necessity and level-of-care determinations using clinical judgment and evidence-based criteria. Coordinates care with members, families, providers, and clients, including discharge planning and access to services. Documents reviews accurately, maintains compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, handles telephonic provider contacts, and manages caseloads independently in a remote work environment.

Provides integrated care management and utilization management for members with substance use disorders. Conducts clinical assessments, develops care plans, reviews authorization requests, evaluates medical necessity, coordinates referrals and discharge planning, and supports treatment engagement and recovery. The clinician collaborates with members, providers, health plans, and community resources while maintaining compliant documentation and participating in quality improvement.

Provides overnight behavioral health clinical support through telephonic screenings, crisis intervention, utilization review, authorization requests, care coordination, referrals, discharge planning, and member follow-up. Maintains compliant clinical documentation and collaborates with members, families, providers, physician consultants, and internal teams. Requires an independently licensed mental health clinician or registered nurse, at least two years of direct psychiatric or chemical dependency care experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work remotely in a 24/7 call center environment.

Outbound-focused role contacting insured members to schedule annual wellness/benefit exams using a progressive dialer. Build member relationships, coordinate and confirm appointments, provide pre-visit instructions, manage high-volume multi-channel communications, and accurately document interactions and outcomes to support primary care teams.
