Own lifecycle growth marketing strategy, experimentation, channel prioritization, performance reporting, and creative strategy across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging. The Senior Actuarial Analyst develops ETL pipelines, maintains actuarial data, builds monitoring dashboards, and supports modeling, reserving, pricing, financial reporting, and competitive analysis. The role partners with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Public Policy teams, contributing to process improvements and insightful analysis for auto insurance products.

Own payroll accounting and month-end close activities across U.S. and North American entities. Prepare payroll journal entries and accruals, reconcile and analyze GL accounts, perform flux analysis, resolve discrepancies, maintain audit-ready records, strengthen controls, and improve recurring processes. Partner with Payroll, FP&A, and Accounting teams while ensuring GAAP compliance, accuracy, and timely close execution.

Provide legal counsel to Lyft product, partnerships, marketing, engineering, and public policy teams. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and technology transactions; advise on product launches, customer-facing terms, marketing initiatives, and partnership integrations. Develop pragmatic legal strategies, manage shifting priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Manage Lyft’s global patent portfolio, including invention harvesting, prosecution strategy, filings, continuations, abandonments, and portfolio reporting. Advise engineering and product teams on open source licensing, technical disclosures, confidentiality, and broader IP matters. Support IP diligence for partnerships, M&A, and vendors; train teams; and build scalable IP processes. The role requires patent prosecution expertise, Patent Bar and state bar membership, a technical degree, AI fluency, and strong communication skills.

Provides employment-law counseling and litigation support to Lyft’s Employee Relations and People teams globally. Advises on HR practices, performance management, terminations, leave, investigations, accommodations, and compliance with federal, state, and international laws. Develops litigation and resolution strategies, monitors legal developments, supports investigations, delivers manager and employee training, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders. The role is hybrid in Seattle and includes occasional travel for internal client support, legal proceedings, negotiations, and cross-office collaboration.

Lead the architecture and development of scalable, reliable claims-management systems and AI automation solutions. Define technical roadmaps, make architectural decisions, improve claims workflows, build AI features using LLMs and RAG, collaborate with engineering, data science, product, claims operations, and insurance partners, and support code reviews, on-call operations, and incident response.

Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate, and maintain scalable systems and infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering, science, and product teams to drive projects from inception through launch. Write tested, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and build highly available detection and response platforms supporting security monitoring and threat identification.

Partners with engineering, product, and business teams to frame problems, perform exploratory analysis, build statistical and machine learning models, write production code, run experiments, analyze data, communicate findings, and support launch decisions.
