Own the technical design and delivery of multi-component AI systems, including LLM-backed features, agent tool orchestration, evaluation frameworks, data pipelines, and model harnesses. Build reliable APIs, SDKs, and feedback loops; optimize latency and cost; assess external models and datasets; and support production systems through on-call rotation. Mentor engineers and collaborate across search, location intelligence, and platform teams.

Maintain and improve Mapbox developer documentation through code updates, content corrections, code sample revisions, and product synchronization. Triage user feedback, manage GitHub contributions and reviews, use Mapbox products to create accurate documentation, and partner with product teams on launches. The role also involves prototyping lightweight documentation tools and supporting Developer Relations initiatives. Candidates should be web developers who write clearly and have 2–4 years of professional experience.

Own commercial strategy and long-term growth for Mapbox’s largest global strategic accounts. Lead retention, renewals, expansion, complex negotiations, account planning, executive relationships, forecasting, and risk mitigation. Partner cross-functionally with technical, product, finance, legal, and customer success teams to deliver customer value. Identify adoption and growth opportunities across Mapbox products, influence internal product strategy with customer insights, and position Mapbox against competitive and internally built alternatives.
