Advise affordable housing developers on LIHTC transactions from feasibility through closing. Lead strategy, underwriting, capital stack structuring, application preparation, QAP positioning, agency interactions, awards, and post-award requirements. Review financial models, credit calculations, equity pricing, and investor requirements. Manage client and stakeholder relationships, communicate complex concepts, mentor staff, and contribute to internal best practices while handling multiple concurrent priorities.

The PHA Audit Principal oversees public housing authority and HUD-related audit engagements, including planning, staffing, technical review, problem resolution, client service, and quality control. The role supervises and mentors staff, manages performance, develops clients, meets sales and marketing goals, and represents the firm externally. Responsibilities also include developing specialized affordable housing and compliance expertise, managing profitability, conducting training, and strengthening client relationships. A CPA license, 9+ years of public accounting experience, strong accounting and tax knowledge, and willingness to travel are required.

Manages PHA and HUD-related audit engagements from planning through completion, resolves technical issues, reviews work, and supervises accounting staff. Develops client relationships, supports business development, contributes to training and firm publications, and improves office profitability. The role requires strong knowledge of GAAP and U.S. auditing standards, excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage shifting priorities. Domestic travel and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
