Leads a team of seven bookkeepers, overseeing workload allocation, quality standards, audits, coaching, hiring, and performance management. Maintains a portfolio of client accounts, including reconciliations, journal entries, transaction categorization, general ledger review, cleanups, and monthly closes. Resolves escalated accounting, payroll, and payroll tax issues; reports performance and capacity; partners with Accounting, Product, Operations, and Training; and improves workflows and team efficiency.

Resolves customer payroll tax notices, researches root causes, handles escalated inquiries, and provides accurate tax guidance. Leads Tax Resolution and Tax Settings teams through quality reviews, coaching, performance support, training, and workflow coordination. Partners with the Tax Manager to build processes and measurement standards for the developing Tax Settings function while supporting payroll tax software improvements and maintaining excellent customer service.

Administer U.S. employee benefits and multi-state leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability, parental, and state-specific leave. Monitor regulatory changes, research legislation, recommend policy updates, manage leave cases, reconcile benefits invoices, oversee ACA reporting, and support compliance audits. Partner with employees, managers, People Operations, Finance, Legal, carriers, and vendors while maintaining accurate records and improving manual processes through automation.
